How to setup 3DVideo

1. Download 3DVideo
   Setup3DVideo.exe
   
   
2. Double click the installation file Setup3DVideo2007SP1.exe
   
   
3. The first page of the installation wizard is the welcome page. Click Next
   
   
   
4. Select "I agree to the terms of this license agreement" and click Next
   
   
   
5. The installation wizard will now start the Python installation.
   
   
   
6. Installation is now complete. Click Finish
   
   
   

How to install a package file

1. Open 3DVideo 2007. The installation wizard will have place an icon on the desktop or use start > all programs > Visual Components > 3DVideo 2007 > 3DVideo 2007
   
   
2. Select File from the menu bar then select open
   
   
   
3. From the "Files of Type" combo box select "Packages (*.vcp)"
   
   
   
4. Select the package file (extension vcp). In this example we will use roller_conveyor_demo_package.vcp. Then click Open
   
   
   
5. Click install to install the components required for the simulation.
   
   
   
6. The components require for the simulation have now been installed. To execute the simulation open the vcm file.

How to install a layout file

1. Open 3DVideo 2007. The installation wizard will have place an icon on the desktop or use start > all programs > Visual Components > 3DVideo 2007 > 3DVideo 2007
   
   
2. Select File from the menu bar then select open
   
   
   
3. Select the layout file (extension vcm), then click Open. In this example we will use roller_conveyor_demo_layout.vcm
   
   
   
4. Click OK on the credit dialog.
   
   
   
5. The layout should now be displayed in the simulation window.
   
   
   
6. To execute the simulation click the Run/Stop button.
