I am working with a Manchester based Consultancy looking to add an experienced Compliance Advisor to its team, providing compliance and technology solutions across the Financial Services & Legal sectors. The successful candidate will possess a significant background in Consumer Credit Lending and be experienced in: Working with or as part of an FCA regulated Investment firm Risk Management Framework Proficient understanding of relevant Directives e.g. MIFID II and AIFMD. This should also include the FCA handbook, specifically: COBS, COLL, FUND Proficient understanding of various investment-related business models e.g. Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) Proficient understanding of designated investments e.g. debentures, P2P and bonds. Understanding The FCA application process Drafting of FCA application documentation i.e. Regulatory Business PlansThe team completes work for clients which would include FCA Applications, Retained Services, Ad-hoc consultancy, Call Monitoring and file reviews. Successful applications will come from candidates that are familiar with completing a range of tasks on a day to day basis, including: Financial Promotions Reviews FCA Complaints Handling Systems and Controls (drafting policies and procedures) GABRIEL reporting Senior Managers and Certification Regime AML and Financial Crime GDPR & Data Protection This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business offering a clear career path and an unrivaled Learning & Development programme.
