The Role One of the fastest growing Care companies in the UK, my client is looking for a Quality Manager to cover the South East region (primarily Surrey, Sussex and Kent). The role is to support the Regional Care Director to deliver and implement the strategic quality plan to ensure there is a quality driven culture across the business whilst also driving quality improvement and operational excellence. You will support our branches through completing internal quality assurance assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvements and producing action plans to increase the quality of care provision. Role Responsibility * Provide expert guidance and direction to Area Care Managers in relation to quality and compliance * To initiate, prioritise and manage a process with the Area Care Managers for reviewing branches that are underperforming in quality and compliance * Ensure “Best Practice” is shared throughout the region * Be involved with Commissioner and CQC inspections as required. * To liaise with all external registration bodies e.g. CQC. * To ensure all policies and procedures are communicated and implemented effectively within the region * Lead and manage audits and quality reviews and utilise output information from inspections and audits across the business. * Reporting on quality. * Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments and requirements. * Lead in the development and delivery of Quality training for staff. Who You Are The person we are looking for will have experience working in a senior quality role, be able to drive and lead quality and compliance across a region and truly understand what good quality looks like. They will challenge and improve services, whilst working with internal and external pressures. Required: * Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management * Diploma in Quality Assurance / Management (or equivalent) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor equivalent - desirable. * Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements / legislation / guidance and best practice * Experience of writing policies and procedures Please note, unsuccessful applications will not receive a response
