Fantastic opportunity for an energetic solutions-orientated HSEQ Manager to join an ambitious and forward thinking construction and infrastructure specialist based in the South-East. This expanding business is looking for an HSEQ Manager to join their journey - the business is client led into arenas where the business will be learning how to operate and so essentially you must be proactive and resilient. The requirement is to support and develop how the business fulfils their obligations and duties to clients within CDM 2015 whilst acting as Principal Designer, Principal Contractor and Sub-Contractor. Previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment with responsibility for multi-site projects as no two days are the same. Essentially you will have excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise workloads to support both the Health and Safety /Commercial needs of the business. This multi-site HSEQ Manager role will visit live construction sites ensuring Health and Safety Compliance as well as working with the in-house Pre-Construction team in preparing client submissions and pre-works risk assessments and construction phase plans. Previous experience of working within light civil engineering environment, construction, hard and soft landscaping works or similar is required for this role. You must have : • Nebosh General and/or Nebosh Construction and/or NCRQ equivalent • Ideally GradIOSH or working towards • A minimum of 3 -5 years Health and Safety lead experience • Multi-site experience of minor civils projects ideally • CDM 2015 • Experience of Training teams. Your will be required to: • Develop and Manage Health and Safety culture across the business, promoting and guiding best practice • Manage and develop management systems to ensure the company is up to date with current Health and Safety legislation • Production of Construction Phase Plans – including safe systems of works • Provide guidance and coaching of safety culture whilst mentoring young site managers • Identify and manage training needs for both site and management staff • Monitoring and ensure compliance with 9001 and all environmental legislation • Maintain accreditations across the business If you are a pragmatic and driven HSEQ Manager looking to make a difference within a successful growing business this is an opportunity to make this role your own.
