M-Tec Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a 1st tier automotive supplier who requires a HSE Officer for their Midlands based facility. As a HSE Officer you will be responsible for supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental activities throughout the facility. Further duties will include: * Management of the legal and statutory requirements (COSHH), as well as detailing any non-compliance. * Complete inspections/Audits/Safety Walks as per annual plan, review controls to ensure they are suitable and define non-conformances and follow up on actions as required. * Conduct HSE inductions for new starters. * Maintain up to date knowledge of Health & Safety at work act. * Record and communicate all accidents or near miss incidents and support in investigations. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: * NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety * NEBOSH General Certificate in Environmental Management * Level 3 /4 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice * Experienced working within a fast paced manufacturing environment If you feel the above requirements match you background then please do not hesitate to apply!
