Process Simulation

A process simulation entails mathematical modelling and computer assisted investigation of a production / manufacturing process. This process normal shows the work flow of parts passing through a production facility.

SimX has developed diverse range of process simulation depending on the requirements of the customer. The most basic level of simulation is a logic model. Within the logical model every process is simulated as a black box with a simple processing time. This level of simulation can be used to simulate material flow.

When required it is possible to drill down to the details of each process and simulate each machine. When simulating at this level of detail. Each servo drive and pneumatic cylinder will be simulated in this situation the simulation will calculate the cycle time of the process.

The statistics collected from the process simulation can be exported to a range of different databases formats including (MS Access and MySQL) or the data can be exported to a spread sheet which can be viewed using MS Excel.
